When I went to the visiting days of Bachelor Business Economics at the Vrije Universeit Amsterdam when I was 16 and heard what two former Marketing Master students were doing, I was blown away. I had to become a Marketer.

So I did. Marketing Strategy, Statistics and Consumer Psychology were my favorite subjects. And I still use these in my current work.

The marketing landscape has changed considerably in those 15 years. I have found my place in the Mar Tech area. An email geek, fond of data and crazy about the psychology behind why something works (that I came up with πŸ˜‰).

And why a blog called Marketing Lab? Things are discovered and investigated in a lab. I enjoy nothing more than exploring ideas, solving problems and answering questions. Through this blog I share those studies and solutions so that it can be of use to you too.

I must say, much of my Tech side takes place in Dynamics Customer Insights, the Marketing Automation and CDP tool within Microsoft Dynamics, but many of my ideas can be applied in any other tool. It’s just that everything marketing!
